Awanto 3

Steven de Peven (aka Awanto 3) successfully channels his colorful personality and rich musical upbringing through his eclectic danceable tunes. It is hard to pin down a single genre that dominates his tracks. They might contain the positive groove of boogie or funk, the metropolitan rush of Chicago house, the vitality of afro-beat or sometimes the colder undertones of techno. These diverse elements are also reflected in his DJ sets performed in places ranging from Panorama Bar to the SXSW festival in Austin, Texas. It seems like he found the right balance between moving the crowds and staying true to his sophisticated music lover nature.
